Block 66 of the Embroiderer’s Progress Quilt: Cry Me a River.

This one has a story behind it.

I picked up the DMC #8 perle cotton and the 18-count “oatmeal” aida on my way to move back into my parents’ house the day after my then-husband committed multiple felonies against me. Again. (2021 note: For the last time.) Over the weeks that followed, inspiration from Michael Buble’s song of the same name combined with italic Times New Roman and some neat-looking corners to create this.
